KERKI is the Georgian brand producing dried fruits since 2021. Kerki operates a high standard enterprise in a mountainous region of Ajara, Keda municipality, village Dzentsmani, in ecologically clean environment. Kerki operates its own dried fruit shop in Batumi, # 111 Vakhtang Gorgasali str.
Dried fruit enterprise KERKI produces bothtraditional and innovative products, sold locally in Georgia as well as beyond its borders (export).
Standards of food safety management ISO22000 have been implemented in the enterprise, along with which Kerki holds the certificate issued by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
KERKI is an ancient Georgian word, which is used until present days in several regions of Georgia and denotes sun-dried stone fruits.
While working on the idea of creating the KERKI brand, the Georgian alphabet became the source of inspiration for the logo and the brand character.
"Kerki" team started the construction of a dried fruit enterprise, in the village of Dzentsmani, in Keda Municipality, Ajara region during the Covid Pandemic, in August 2020. As of March 2021, the enterprise has been operating in test mode.
From December, a new Georgian brand "Kerki"appeared on the market.
Currently team works on five types of products: dried fruits, churchkhela (traditional Georgian candle shaped sweet), fruit leather, candied fruit and nuts.
"Kerki" Enterprise created the first attempt andtraditionally processed, 100% natural, persimmon, apple and tangerine dried fruitsthreaded onto strings have packedin the way to meet the highestfood safety standards.
"Kerki" offers customers so-called "Family" and stand-up resemble pouch packaging.
At this stage, products can be purchased in Tbilisi and Batumi markets. "Kerki" dried fruit enterprise had many guests in in the village, Keda Municipality, Ajara region.
It should be noted that the dried fruit new Georgian brand has already been presented at large international exhibitions of beverages and food products, where Georgian natural products were presented worldwide and the first export of "Kerki" products was carried out.
